About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Account Manager fluent in Dutch and French to join SumUp in Barcelona. This role focuses on driving revenue growth across an existing merchant portfolio through outbound engagement, negotiation, upselling, and retention actions.

Key Responsibilities

→Own a portfolio of existing merchants and drive revenue growth
→Proactively engage merchants to increase transaction volumes and long-term retention
→Negotiate pricing, fees, and product adoption within defined guidelines
→Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities
→Run churn-prevention and win-back campaigns
→Prioritize outreach based on portfolio signals and performance indicators
→Work towards clear commercial targets and KPIs

Requirements

✓At least 1 year of experience in Sales Development, Sales, or Account Management
✓Experience in upselling and cross-selling in a B2B or Fintech environment is a strong plus
✓Excellent verbal and written proficiency in Dutch, French, and English
✓Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
✓Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs.
