About the Role
We are seeking a WebLogic Server Administrator to manage and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments, including server configurations, deployments, and health monitoring. This role involves supporting application deployments through Kubernetes clusters and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- →Administer and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server (11g and 12c), including server configurations, deployments, and health monitoring
- →Create, configure, and manage JMS queues and topics; resolve issues related to stuck messages or delivery failures
- →Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues related to WebLogic and JMS components
- →Support application deployments through Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, ensuring smooth rollout and rollback procedures
- →Work with Jenkins for building and deploying applications using Docker images
- →Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines; support feature flag deployments using Unleash
- →Perform application performance monitoring using Dynatrace; take proactive action on performance alerts
- →Analyze logs and system behavior using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- →Provide operational support within an AWS cloud environment, including deployment and basic troubleshooting of cloud-native applications
- →Use Linux and Solaris for application-level troubleshooting and basic OS operations
- →Handle JIRA tickets for incidents, tasks, and change requests in line with SLA expectations
- →Participate in 24/7 monitoring and support for critical applications and systems, including on-call rotations
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server (11g and 12c)
- ✓Knowledge of JMS queues and topics
- ✓Experience with Kubernetes and EKS clusters
- ✓Familiarity with Jenkins and Docker
- ✓Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Unleash
- ✓Experience with Dynatrace for performance monitoring
- ✓Proficiency with ELK Stack for log analysis
- ✓Experience with AWS cloud environment
- ✓Proficiency with Linux and Solaris operating systems
- ✓Experience with JIRA for incident and change management
- ✓Ability to work in a 24/7 monitoring and support environment
