About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join Syngenta, overseeing capital projects in Research & Development and Commercial locations across North America. This role involves managing the implementation of new or enhanced assets that align with business needs while adhering to cost and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Directly manage projects by setting and achieving challenging success criteria
- →Collaborate with project owners to define scope, often navigating ambiguity
- →Define, estimate, deliver, track, and report on safety, costs, and physical progress of capital projects
- →Prepare applications for engineering capital approvals and project completion reports
- →Ensure integration of commissioning and startup activities with design and construction phases
Requirements
- ✓Experience in managing capital projects in R&D or commercial environments
- ✓Strong project management and technical expertise
- ✓Ability to work with third-party teams including contractors and suppliers
