About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to help shape and scale Rosso, tem’s core IP transaction infrastructure that saves our customers millions. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with strategic technical ownership and organisational influence.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive technical leadership through execution, leading high-impact improvements across Rosso workflows
- →Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across teams and systems
- →Design, code, and review critical components across stateful backend services, APIs, and infrastructure
- →Improve reliability and operability, observability, testing strategy, and deployment practices
- →Integrate machine learning models into production
- →Design for correctness in complex workflows
- →Prevent domain drift by creating and maintaining clear domain boundaries
- →Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers, raise engineering standards
- →Architect systems to handle high-volume quoting/pricing activity
Requirements
- ✓Exceptional technical leadership experience at Staff+ or Senior Staff level
- ✓Architectural depth in complex, stateful distributed systems
- ✓Experience leading cross-team initiatives impacting revenue
- ✓Deep experience with Python, AWS serverless architecture, event-driven systems
- ✓Strong ability in data modelling for complex business rules
- ✓Demonstrated ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes
- ✓First-principles problem solving ability
- ✓Comfort operating in evolving environments
