About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our Video engineering team at Gracenote. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain internal and client-facing web applications, working closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX designers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
- →Build reusable frontend components and libraries for maximum interactivity and responsiveness.
- →Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
- →Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code.
- →Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including refactoring legacy code, optimizing page load times, and automating deployment pipelines.
- →Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for APIs, pipelines, and architecture.
Requirements
- ✓2-4 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering roles.
- ✓Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- ✓Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Typescript, and React.js.
- ✓Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Kotlin for developing scalable and maintainable Restful APIs and data processing applications.
- ✓Expertise in designing and building resilient APIs with the Spring Boot framework.
- ✓Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL (Elastic, MongoDB).
- ✓Experience with testing frameworks for both frontend (Jest, React Testing Library) and backend (JUnit, Mockito).
- ✓Experience with version control systems (Gitlab) and CI/CD practices.
