About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Senior Manager to join Nielsen's Audience Measurement team in Japan. This role focuses on driving business development and fostering relationships with media partners including agencies, broadcasters, publishers, platforms, and advertisers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans to identify growth opportunities with existing and new client groups
- →Deliver agreed quarterly and annual sales targets through new business development
- →Partner with the Marketing team to create an annual media plan that promotes Nielsen as a brand
- →Build internal relationships across business units to support sales opportunities
- →Leverage senior leadership's involvement with proposal and pitch development
- →Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports
- →Develop and manage mid to long term strategies that enhance existing client relationships
- →Develop strong and trust-based relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- →Create and deliver clear, concise, and compelling client presentations
- →Collaborate with regional and global commercial, product, and marketing teams
- →Provide feedback to product and operational teams regarding service developments
- →Monitor and encourage greater usage of Nielsen solutions in clients
- →Deliver financial results by driving a client-centric sales mindset
- →Represent the Nielsen brand within the industry and external stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Experience in business development within the media industry
- ✓Strong understanding of audience measurement solutions
- ✓Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
- ✓Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- ✓Experience working with media agencies, broadcasters, and advertisers
- ✓Ability to analyze sales data and develop reports
- ✓Experience in managing client relationships and driving revenue growth
- ✓Understanding of Nielsen products and services
- ✓Ability to work in a matrixed structure and collaborate with various teams
- ✓Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships
- ✓Strong presentation and negotiation skills
