About the Role
We are looking for a KYC Analyst to join our team at Tide. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and policies related to customer identification and due diligence to fight against financial crime. The primary role involves verifying customer identities, assessing risks, and monitoring transactions to prevent money laundering and fraud.
Key Responsibilities
- →Verify the identity of new customers by collecting and analyzing relevant documentation
- →Assess the risk associated with each customer based on industry, location, and transaction patterns
- →Conduct thorough due diligence on all customers to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- →Liaise with KYC policies and procedures to ensure consistent understanding of compliance requirements
- →Recognize areas for enhancement to improve efficiency and member experience
- →Provide assistance whenever required within the business
Requirements
- ✓Over a year of work experience in KYC/compliance, preferably in a highly regulated environment
- ✓Clear understanding and effective application of UK regulatory requirements
- ✓Robust understanding and hands-on experience with CDD and EDD processes
- ✓Prior experience working with Google Sheets
- ✓Analytical mindset capable of digesting large datasets and identifying patterns
- ✓Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal
- ✓Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to various working styles
