ABOUT THE TEAM
At Tide, our People Operations team is building world-class employee experiences powered by technology, scalable processes, and a truly employee-centric mindset. As part of this team, we are looking for a "Process Architect" who can manage complex onboarding, rigorous background verification (BGV), and internal mobility while continuously optimizing our workday ecosystem.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior People Operations Analyst you will:
1. End-to-End Onboarding & Contract Management
• Own the onboarding journey for all new hires in India and the UK from the moment an offer is accepted until their first day.
• Generate and manage employment contracts and other joining documentation, ensuring all clauses are compliant with local labor laws (e.g., UK GDPR, India’s standing orders, and local state laws).
• Act as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding documentation, right-to-work (RTW) checks, and relocation queries.
2. Benefit Compliance & Background Verification (BGV)
• Execute and oversee BGV processes for all new joiners, including criminal, credit, and employment history checks.
• Conduct periodic re-verifications for Directors and Executives in line with UK financial regulations (e.g., SMCR) and Indian corporate governance standards.
• Partner with external vendors to ensure turnaround times (TAT) are met without compromising on the depth of the audit.
• Manage nominations and benefit enrollment to insurance and team budgets as per policy
3. Process Engineering & Workday Optimization
• Evaluate existing onboarding and transfer workflows to identify bottlenecks
• Design and implement enhanced Workday Business Processes (BPs) to automate data flow between recruitment, BGV vendors, and payroll.
• Maintain strict data integrity within Workday, ensuring all compliance documents are digitally archived and easily auditable.
4. Internal Mobility & Lifecycle Management
• Manage the operational logistics of internal transfers, including cross-border moves (India to UK and vice versa).
• Oversee the Probation Management process, ensuring managers are prompted for reviews and system records are updated accurately upon completion.
• Draft addendums for promotions, role changes, and compensation adjustments, ensuring Workday reflects these changes in real-time.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Technical Expertise:
• Workday Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM, specifically in managing Business Processes and Onboarding modules,
• Regional Knowledge: Understanding of UK and Indian onboarding compliance
• Vendor Management: Experience managing high-volume BGV vendors and holding them accountable to rigorous quality standards.
Soft Skills:
• Systems Thinking: The ability to see a manual task and envision a scalable, automated solution.
• Meticulous Attention to Detail: A "compliance-first" mindset where no discrepancy in a background check goes unnoticed
• Global Communication: The ability to navigate cultural nuances when communicating with stakeholders across locations
• Strong data analysis and Google Sheets skills; familiarity with HR systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance competing priorities.
• Clear communicator who can simplify complex data and processes for different audiences.
