About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager, Agent Platform to define and scale the foundational platform that powers AI agents across Toast. This role focuses on making it easy for every product team to build, launch, and monitor high-quality AI agents while ensuring a seamless, consistent, and trustworthy experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define the long-term vision and roadmap for the Agent Platform
- →Build platform capabilities for agent-to-agent collaboration and shared memory
- →Establish standards for tool development and orchestration
- →Own evaluation and monitoring frameworks
- →Enable teams across Toast to easily build and integrate agents
- →Work with customers to understand AI quality
- →Partner with Engineering, AI/ML, design, and domain product teams
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of product management experience with technical platform products
- ✓Deep familiarity with LLM systems and agent architectures
- ✓Strong technical fluency in APIs and observability tooling
- ✓Experience building developer-facing platforms
- ✓Ability to define quality standards for complex systems
- ✓Systems thinking and architectural integrity
