About position
We’re hiring a Product Manager to own the end‑to‑end health of a two‑sided talent network -supply (freelancers) and demand (client teams). You’ll build the flows, policies, and incentives that improve time‑to‑match, fulfillment, and GMV, while keeping data and IP safe.
What You’ll Do
• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Toloka’s marketplace domain
• Build products and workflows that improve the health of a two-sided marketplace across supply, demand, quality, and economics
• Improve expert onboarding, qualification, profiling, and activation flows
• Design and scale matching, routing, and staffing systems that help projects start faster and fill successfully
• Build tools and mechanics for expert search, readiness scoring, taxonomy, and project-to-expert fit
• Partner with operations teams to automate manual processes across workforce requests, onboarding, retention, and support
• Improve marketplace transparency through metrics, dashboards, and clear operating mechanisms
• Work on pricing, payment, incentive, and policy mechanisms that improve expert experience and business performance
• Run product discovery with users and stakeholders, validate opportunities with data, and translate insights into execution
• Write clear product requirements, prioritize trade-offs, and lead cross-functional delivery from concept to launch

• Product decisions measurably improve marketplace KPIs such as activation, fill rate, time-to-staff, retention, quality, and margin
What We’re Looking For
Must-have
• 5+ years of product management experience, including significant experience in marketplace, platform, or workflow-heavy products
• Strong track record of owning complex product areas end-to-end and shipping in ambiguous environments
• Experience with two-sided marketplace dynamics such as supply quality, matching, liquidity, incentives, trust, or fulfillment
• Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to identify problems, size opportunities, and evaluate impact
• Ability to work deeply with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders
• Excellent product judgment: you know when to build a feature, improve an internal tool, or solve a problem operationally first
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
Nice to have
• Experience in expert, labor, freelance, staffing, or services marketplaces
• Experience with AI, ML, data operations, human-in-the-loop systems, or quality workflows
• Familiarity with ranking, matching, routing, reputation, or trust systems
• Experience with pricing, payouts, incentives, or policy design in marketplace environments
• Startup or high-growth environment experience
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
