TrustedHousesitters is seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining data models to support analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain robust data models in dbt
- →Optimize the transformation layer for scalability
- →Partner with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders
- →Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
- →Maintain clear documentation for datasets and data flows
- →Improve and automate data workflows and deployment practices
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering
- ✓Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses
- ✓Hands-on experience with advanced modeling techniques in dbt
- ✓Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools
- ✓Experience with data visualization tools and BI semantic layers
- ✓Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and analytics best practices
- ✓Git-based workflow familiarity
- ✓Excellent communication skills
