About the Role
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our global team at TwelveLabs. This role focuses on developing and deploying cutting-edge video AI models that enable specialized video search, analysis, summarization, and insight generation.
Key Responsibilities
- βExpand and enhance TwelveLabs' core product, Pegasus, in production environments, designing ML systems and serving infrastructure that can handle massive traffic
- βLead the design and implementation of model deployment, metadata management, and high-throughput, low-latency inference strategies for Video Language Models
- βImprove and automate the end-to-end ML pipeline for model development, training, and serving
- βConnect applied research problems to actual product performance improvements and user experience enhancements
- βExplore and experiment with AI-based development tools to improve productivity
- βTake ownership of the end-to-end process from model to customer delivery
Requirements
- βBasic understanding of Computer Vision or Natural Language Processing, or experience with Vision Language Models
- βExperience working with multimodal data (image, video, text)
- βExperience building distributed data/ML workflows on Kubernetes
- βInterest in operating models in real service environments
- βEnjoy solving problems through experimentation and learning in fast-changing environments
