About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to join Twelve Labs and craft the interaction layer of Rodeo, a video-centric creative tool. This design-forward role focuses on creating polished UIs with microinteractions, transitions, and animations that define the product experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build fluid, highly polished UIs with React and TypeScript
- →Own interaction design implementation using animation libraries
- →Collaborate with the design team on rapid ideation and prototyping
- →Translate high-fidelity Figma designs into production interfaces
- →Build and maintain a component library and design system
- →Optimize rendering performance for complex media-rich views
- →Write reliable tests for complex interactive UI workflows
- →Work embedded with the design team as a creative partner
- →Prototype interaction concepts quickly to validate design direction
Requirements
- ✓5+ years building production frontend applications
- ✓Deep experience with React and TypeScript
- ✓Strong command of animation and interaction libraries
- ✓Portfolio demonstrating interaction design sensibility
- ✓Experience with canvas-based or timeline-based interfaces
- ✓Strong eye for design and commitment to craft
- ✓Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments
- ✓Experience with Next.js and modern frontend tooling
