About the Role
Ubisoft Bordeaux is seeking an Engine Programmer β Animation to join their AAA production team for an unannounced project. This role requires strong programming expertise and a deep understanding of video game animation.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign, develop, and implement animation features in our in-house game engine using C++, C#, and Python
- βCollaborate with the animation team and Technical Animation Director to integrate animation mechanisms effectively
- βWork on the game editor and tools to facilitate animation creation and editing with a focus on user experience
- βProgram and optimize animation state machines; implement, maintain, and manage embedded technologies like procedural solutions, physics-based systems, and IK systems
- βParticipate in brainstorming and planning sessions with the development team
- βTrack ongoing productions to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards
- βCollaborate with R&D to integrate new technologies and tools into the game engine
- βStay current with current and emerging animation technology trends
Requirements
- βStrong expertise in C++, C#, and Python programming
