About the Role
The Cyber Security Remediation Analyst serves as a technology specialist to plan and carry out complex INFOSEC assignments. This role involves developing and managing programs for continuous monitoring, risk assessment, remediation tracking, external reporting, critical infrastructure protection, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities
- →Evaluate the impact of technological change and conceive solutions to highly complex technical issues
- →Present, explain, and defend controversial issues to persuade decision-making officials
- →Ensure the application of appropriate security measures to assignments
- →Develop, implement, and coordinate activities to protect and restore IT systems
- →Provide advice and guidance on implementing IT security policies and procedures
- →Evaluate, recommend, and implement IT security tools and practices
- →Review independent assessments and recommend security measures
- →Identify and specify information systems security requirements for migrations
- →Develop specifications to ensure compliance with security requirements
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in systems or network administration with a focus on cyber security vulnerability reporting
- ✓Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is desired but not required
- ✓Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- ✓Experience working with security operations and/or incident response teams
- ✓Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies like Splunk
- ✓Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, and Burp Suite
- ✓Ability to pass a Government Clearance & Drug Test
