About the Role

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team at Vanta. This role focuses on leading technical discussions with prospects and customers, ensuring they can fully utilize our security platform to meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities

→Own the technical relationship with commercial prospects and customers
→Develop a deep understanding of product capabilities, integrations, configurations, messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape
→Listen to prospects and clients to provide market feedback to the product team
→Support customers through their trial process with Vanta
→Build product examples, documentation, and other critical resources for customers
→Cultivate an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement
→Creatively identify and help drive new programs to improve the pre to post-sales transition

Requirements

✓Must be able to work in our London office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
✓Have 5+ years of customer-facing, technical experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer or equivalent title
✓Have previous B2B SaaS experience
✓Have hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure & Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and cloud application architecture
✓Have strong project management skills with a proven ability to operate in a startup environment
✓Be creative, technical, and naturally persuasive
✓Be detail-oriented and organized
✓Love listening to customers, discussing strategy with colleagues, but also diving into the weeds
✓Have general knowledge with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, and JavaScript) and a desire to expand those skills
✓Be familiar with REST API development and service integrations
✓Ideally have prior experience in the cybersecurity space
