About the Role
We are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join vCluster Labs and architect trust in our diverse ecosystem. This role focuses on ensuring the end-to-end security of our product, making vCluster the de facto standard for secure Kubernetes multi-tenancy.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform deep-dive security reviews of our core Go-based applications and Kubernetes controllers
- →Lead the threat modeling process for new features, identifying risks in shared GPU resources and multi-cloud environments
- →Integrate security checks into our CI and developer workflows
- →Manage automated and manual scanning of our entire product stack
- →Own the lifecycle of security vulnerabilities from discovery to remediation
- →Contribute to feature development related to security topics
- →Provide developer training on complex security topics
Requirements
- ✓5+ years in Application Security or Product Security with a focus on containerized environments
- ✓Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, RBAC, and container runtime security
- ✓Comfortable reading and writing Go, the language of our core product
- ✓Experience with modern tech environments and solving novel problems
- ✓Ability to view feedback as a learning mechanism
