About the Role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team at Veeam. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-based products, working closely with development, DevOps, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Roll out and maintain cloud infrastructures used for product development and testing
- →Build test frameworks and enhance product test coverage
- →Implement and support CI/CD pipelines
- →Develop tools to simplify the development process
- →Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code templates
- →Prepare technical documentation and specifications
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in test automation
- ✓Experience with performance and scalability testing frameworks
- ✓Ability to simulate real-world load conditions and analyze system behavior under stress
- ✓Experience with large-scale CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and related cloud-native projects
- ✓Understanding of container orchestration, service mesh, and observability tools
- ✓Ability to write clean, efficient, and functional code using high-level programming languages
- ✓Comfort with shell scripting or other scripting languages like Python
- ✓Ability to build reusable components and utilities for test and infrastructure automation
- ✓Strong ownership of projects and good communication skills
- ✓Proactive in identifying quality gaps and driving continuous improvement
