About the Role
We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join our team at Featurespace, a company dedicated to protecting clients and their customers from fraud attacks. This role involves developing new features and maintaining the existing Java code base to support the ARIC UI.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with team members to develop new features and maintain the existing Java code base
- →Support the team's efforts to ensure software dependencies remain up-to-date and vulnerability free
- →Support the team's investigation and resolution of customer issues
- →Provide Java and agile software development expertise
- →Expert understanding of relevant technologies and ability to write optimized, scalable code
- →Solve complex problems and help others in debugging and resolving issues
- →Lead significant portions of projects and make impactful contributions
- →Drive technical initiatives and lead resolution of critical bugs
- →Mentor other engineers, particularly those less experienced
- →Support the onboarding of new engineers into the team
- →Promote good practices and help other engineers deepen their knowledge
Requirements
- ✓Strong understanding of Java and agile software development
- ✓Experience with developing and maintaining software code bases
- ✓Ability to solve complex problems and debug issues
- ✓Experience with leading projects and mentoring other engineers
- ✓Knowledge of software dependencies and vulnerability management
