About the Role
We are looking for versatile, curious, and energetic Software Engineers to join Visa’s Technology Organization. As a Software Manager, you will be part of a multi-functional development team designing, building, and testing software products for a global customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population
- →Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions
- →Contribute to product quality improvements and new business flows in diverse agile squads
- →Develop robust and scalable products for end-user merchants, b2b, and business to government solutions
- →Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services and Transaction Platforms
- →Mentor team members and build a high-performing team
- →Drive technical discussions and decisions, and write code
- →Guide architecture, tool choices, and internal technical quality
- →Manage tech debt, scalability, performance, and maintainability of software
- →Ensure support and operations for services in production
- →Continually tune the team software process to deliver value
- →Partner with product managers in developing short-term strategy and roadmap
- →Partner with remote teams to ensure alignment across product development
Requirements
- ✓Experience in leveraging GenAI and an innovation mindset
- ✓Strong background in software engineering and payment technology
- ✓Experience with distributed systems and application architecture
- ✓Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor team members
- ✓Experience in driving technical discussions and decisions
- ✓Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices
- ✓Strong problem-solving and communication skills
