About the Role
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join Featurespace, a software company focused on protecting clients and customers from fraud attacks. This role involves designing and implementing new features for cloud-hosted solutions and leading technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement new features and enhancements for continuous improvement of cloud-hosted solutions
- →Design and implement a scalable, highly available, and secure platform
- →Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- →Continually evaluate and improve technology and processes to increase quality, decrease costs, and improve time-to-market
- →Make architectural improvements on existing platforms and develop cloud-hosted solutions
- →Support the rapid delivery of prototypes and creation of scalable products
- →Develop and document internal processes
- →Take ownership of projects and ensure success
- →Mentor other engineers, particularly those less experienced
- →Onboard new engineers into the team
- →Provide timely, actionable feedback to team members
- →Participate in the hiring process and provide effective feedback
- →Promote good practices and help engineers deepen their knowledge
Requirements
- ✓Expert understanding of relevant technologies and ability to write optimized, scalable code
- ✓Experience solving complex problems and helping others with debugging and issue resolution
- ✓Experience as a code approver at a larger scale outside of scrum teams
- ✓Ability to improve areas of the system and leave things better than found
- ✓Capability to drive technical initiatives and lead resolution of critical bugs
- ✓Ability to identify solutions to larger problems with assistance from peers
