About the Role

WEBTOON Entertainment is seeking a Motion Designer & Content Creator to join their creative team. This role involves crafting engaging short-form video content that tells compelling stories and resonates with audiences across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

→Conceptualize, script, and edit short-form video content that captures audiences’ attention with strong hooks and cliffhangers
→Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and art directors to create dynamic, character-driven content
→Develop series promos, trailers, and explainer content that connects fans to WEBTOON’s universe
→Create expressive animations from comic panels to elevate characters and fictional worlds
→Produce both high-quality motion design and quick-turn, unpolished videos for social media
→Develop engaging, thoughtful, and entertaining ads that feel native to each platform
→Stay informed about fan culture, animation trends, memes, and narrative formats popular with Gen Z and Millennial audiences

Requirements

✓3+ years of professional experience in a creative agency, production company, or in-house entertainment team
✓Strong copywriting and scripting background with a willingness to experiment with new writing styles
✓Proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects, with knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
✓Experience with character rigging and a strong understanding of animation principles
✓A portfolio/reel showcasing professional motion design and storytelling work
✓Passionate about comics, animation, gaming, or storytelling in all forms
✓Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
✓Comfortable learning new skills and elevating oneself as a designer or writer
