About the Role
Wealthsimple is seeking a Growth Marketing Intern for an 8-month internship to support incentives and promotions. This role combines marketing, technology, and creative problem-solving to plan, build, and launch lifecycle marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, build, and ship lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging
- →Support the automation and operationalization of communications for teams across Wealthsimple
- →Collaborate with growth marketers, product teams, and designers to build multi-channel client journeys
- →Ideate and experiment on strategies to drive activation, engagement, retention, and participation in incentives and promotions
- →Analyze campaign performance and help communicate key insights and learnings
- →Build segmentation logic and personalized messaging using dynamic content
- →Support A/B testing efforts to improve client experience and campaign outcomes
Requirements
- ✓Currently enrolled as a student at a Canadian post-secondary institution or technical bootcamp
- ✓New graduates - Within 6 months of your graduation date
- ✓Available to work full-time hours
- ✓Residing in Canada
- ✓Able to commute to our Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays
- ✓Curious, resourceful, and eager to experiment with new ways of working
- ✓Familiarity with AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude)
- ✓Can balance multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
- ✓Naturally collaborative and empathetic
- ✓Comfortable learning new tools and adapting to fast-changing workflows
- ✓Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset
- ✓Fundamental to intermediate coding experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid) and experience with CRM tools like Braze and Taxi for Email are valued
