Key Responsibilities
- →Project planning, scoping, requirements gathering, and validation with clients
- →Quoting, estimates, and working with budgets
- →Identifying and working with stakeholders to plan and resource projects
- →Risk analysis and contingency planning
- →Leading internal and external teams to successful project execution
- →Creating schedules and monitoring delivery timeliness
- →Managing budgets and controlling project costs
- →Establishing relationships with customers, internal teams, and suppliers
- →Overseeing project activities and ensuring problem resolution
- →Reporting to internal and external stakeholders on project scope, financials, progress, and status
- →Ensuring finance systems are up to date and accurate
- →Process documentation and knowledge management
- →Maintaining project profit through margin management
Requirements
- ✓Proven project management experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment, ideally in the translation or localization industry
- ✓Knowledge of the translation industry and its technology, processes, competitive landscape, and emerging trends
- ✓Demonstrated success at managing large accounts and/or projects
- ✓Curiosity and creativity to question existing processes and innovate new ones
- ✓Experience in development of processes and ideas
- ✓Experience in financial management and budget to actual management
- ✓Customer relationship management and business development skills to drive organic growth
- ✓Native-level proficiency or advanced knowledge of Italian (minimum B2 level or higher)
- ✓Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university in a related field or relevant working experience
- ✓Must be available to travel for work-related commitments
- ✓Energy and a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- ✓The ability to lead large, diverse, virtual teams
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
