About the Role
The Project Manager will manage accounts directly assigned to them, focusing on project planning, execution, tracking, delivery, and closure using Welocalize standard processes and tools. This role will support the Operations Squad Lead in large enterprise accounts and own relationships with customers at the project level.
Key Responsibilities
- →Supervise and lead global teams, including internal and external stakeholders
- →Prepare, analyze, and implement project plans following Welocalize standards
- →Create and manage project schedules
- →Develop project estimates and proposals for customer approval
- →Assess risks and strategically plan activities to minimize potential issues
- →Manage QA projects, including resource management and defect management
- →Collaborate with stakeholders on project and client objectives
- →Develop and prepare process documents as required
- →Operate with a medium level of support, recognizing and escalating issues in a timely manner
- →Work with the production team to improve project delivery and profitability
- →Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- →Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts at the project level
- →Ensure accurate and up-to-date finance systems data
- →Report on various metrics, including Weekly Project Status reports and Budget to Actual
- →Ensure project profit is maintained through margin management
- →Plan, prepare, and run quarterly business reviews with clients
Requirements
- ✓Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with industry experience
- ✓Proven track record of Project Management
- ✓Experience working internationally or with international product development
- ✓Experience in a technology-related company
- ✓Proven experience dealing with large clients and managing large accounts/projects
- ✓Experience in authoring client documents such as SOWs, proposals, processes, and post-mortems
- ✓Proven track record of active participation in process development and new client sales cycles
- ✓Experience in managing financial budgets, budget reconciliation, and budget reporting
- ✓Experience with Translation Management Systems
- ✓Energy and a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- ✓The ability to lead large, diverse, virtual teams
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- ✓Effective presentation skills
- ✓Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
