Responsibilities • Become a trusted partner by supporting and collaborating with various internal groups and departments to accomplish Xcimer’s near and long-term milestones and objectives. • Coordinate the flow of information among members of the legal department and other internal and external stakeholders. • Provide support across continuously varying company projects and legal matters, ensuring deliverables are on time and consistently of high quality. • Assist with review, drafting, and negotiation of various agreements and corporate documents. • Set up and manage file and document repositories, including calendars, data rooms, task lists, and compliance logs, ensuring information is organized, accessible, and current. • Manage standard document templates and workflows, including document collection, organization, execution, and version control. • Escalate issues and identify opportunities for and drive process improvements. • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to deadlines. • Adapt to evolving internal schedules and changes. Qualifications • Associate degree in paralegal studies or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 5+ years of relevant experience working in a law firm and/or a corporate legal department. • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. • Flexibility and affinity for collaborative assignments. • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment while managing concurrent deadlines. • Ability to communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) and effectively across all company levels. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, SharePoint and Power Point, as well as Zoom, Slack, and Box applications. • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum Desired • Certification from an ABA approved paralegal studies program or an accredited institution. • Experience supporting a legal department and corporate teams operating across different locations and time zones. • Experience negotiating and managing various confidentiality/nondisclosure agreements. • Experience supporting multiple attorneys with different specializations and responsibilities.
