About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our client team at YLD, a remote-first consultancy specializing in software engineering. You will be part of a team building innovative products and delivering outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop an automation framework using NodeJS (ExpressJS)
- →Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Cypress.io
- →Work with Playwright to test features, including heavy use of mocking techniques for HTTP and WebSocket protocols
- →Write automation tests for testing 3rd parties APIs and services from APigee using Selenium WebDriver
- →Use Jenkins as a CI/CD tool to run tests and suites for different environments
- →Write unit tests using Jest
- →Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve bugs
- →Use Jira as a task management tool and Zephyr to manage test cases
- →Use Testomat.io for reporting/auditing automated test results
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role
- ✓Experience with Playwright, API testing (REST/GraphQL), cross-browser testing, and CI/CD integration
- ✓Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- ✓Detailed defect documentation and lifecycle management
- ✓Proven experience with tools/languages such as Jest, NodeJS, Selenium WebDriver, and Cypress.io
- ✓Problem-solving skills that balance innovation with pragmatic technology choices
- ✓Excellent English communication skills
- ✓Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- ✓Strong organizational skills
- ✓Comfortable working in a dynamic production environment
- ✓Distinct customer focus and quality mindset
