About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Yuno, a company building payment infrastructure for global markets. This role involves designing and implementing data architectures that scale with our payment platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build data pipelines for large volumes of payment data
- →Own end-to-end data flows from ingestion to outputs
- →Drive data quality across domains with appropriate tooling
- →Work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Engineering teams
- →Contribute to team practices including code review, CI/CD standards, and incident handling
- →Help onboard and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- ✓Proven technical acumen and ability to lead initiatives
- ✓Experience defining data engineering standards and governance
- ✓Strong Python and SQL skills
- ✓Hands-on experience with Spark or Flink in production
- ✓DBT for data transformation
- ✓StarRocks or comparable analytical database experience
- ✓Experience building and operating data pipelines in AWS and/or GCP
- ✓Familiarity with medallion/lakehouse architecture patterns
- ✓Verbal and written fluency in English
