About the Role We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to join LPL in Austin, TX. This is a contract role focused on building and deploying agentic AI solutions across the Product Development Lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Develop and deploy agentic AI solutions using Claude SDK/CLI and related technologies • Integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and implement function calling • Deploy AI solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure • Utilize Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot for daily development tasks Requirements • Strong hands-on Python development experience • Experience with Claude Agent SDK, Claude CLI, and plugin development • Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks like Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, or LangGraph • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and tool/function calling • Daily hands-on use of Claude, Cursor, and/or GitHub Copilot • Experience with AWS cloud deployment, including Amazon EKS, S3, and IAM • Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines • Strong communication, public speaking, and problem-solving skills • Claude Certified Engineer certification and AWS cloud knowledge are must-haves Good to Have • .NET / C# experience • Angular development skills • LLM evaluation, observability, and guardrails knowledge • Prompt engineering and RAG experience
