About the Role We are seeking an experienced Analytics Data Engineer for a 6-month contract with potential for long-term extensions. This role requires a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and dashboard development. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate multiple data sources • Implement automated data validation and reconciliation processes • Analyze complex datasets to derive meaningful insights and define KPIs • Develop interactive dashboards using tools like Grafana, Splunk, or Power BI • Create lightweight data applications using Python frameworks • Investigate data discrepancies and implement data-quality monitoring • Mentor junior developers and establish engineering standards Requirements • Strong Python programming and advanced SQL skills • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and handling large datasets • Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, and error handling • Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues • Experience with data modeling, aggregation, and pipeline optimization • Understanding of data lineage and metric definitions • Experience developing interactive dashboards and visualizations • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills • Experience with version control, testing, and documentation practices
