About the Role We are looking for an experienced API Automation Engineer with strong expertise in REST API testing, automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration. Key Responsibilities • Design and maintain automated API test suites and reusable frameworks • Validate API requests, responses, headers, status codes, and authentication • Develop positive, negative, boundary, and data-driven test scenarios • Integrate API automation into CI/CD pipelines • Analyze failures, troubleshoot defects, and collaborate with development teams • Review API specifications and maintain test data and execution reports Requirements • 9+ years of professional experience in QA/API automation • Strong hands-on experience with REST API test automation • Experience with Rest Assured or Postman/Newman • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python • Knowledge of JSON/XML, API authentication, and HTTP protocols • Experience with Jenkins/GitLab CI, Git, and JIRA • Strong understanding of regression, integration, negative, and boundary testing Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and meet the position’s work authorization requirements.
