About the Role We are looking for an experienced API Solution Architect with strong expertise in Node.js, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and AI-powered engineering to lead enterprise-scale API modernization, integration, and transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design and architect scalable, secure, high-performance REST APIs, GraphQL services, and event-driven integrations • Lead API modernization using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Express.js, and Fastify • Design agentic API migration factories using chained LLM-driven pipelines and human-reviewed pull requests • Develop and govern custom GitHub Copilot Skills and AI-assisted engineering accelerators • Establish OpenAPI Specification (OAS)-first development standards and API governance frameworks • Drive cloud-native API architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP • Implement API security, OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and enterprise integration best practices • Lead microservices architecture, CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and performance optimization Requirements • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in Solution/Enterprise Architecture • Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Express.js, NestJS, and Fastify • Extensive experience with REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and event-driven architectures • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, API management, and microservices • Experience with LLM-powered automation, Generative AI, GitHub Copilot customization, and AI-assisted engineering workflows • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, CI/CD, and DevSecOps
