About the Role We are looking for an experienced Application Analyst to join an exciting opportunity with the Government of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain applications using C# and Visual Studio • Design and implement MS SQL databases • Gather and analyze business and user requirements • Prepare technical designs, database structures, and application documentation • Conduct unit, system, and integration testing • Provide application support, maintenance, and enhancements • Coordinate releases and ensure timely delivery Requirements • 5+ years of experience as an Application Developer in a large enterprise IT environment • Strong experience with .NET, C#, Microsoft Visual Studio, and source control tools • 5+ years of experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, stored procedures, data modelling, and Reporting Services • Experience working directly with end-users to gather requirements, support testing, and maintain documentation • Experience integrating complex IT systems, multiple data sources, web services, and legacy applications • Knowledge of Agile methodology • Experience with GitHub • Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
