About the Role We are looking for a Developer/Programmer Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on developing automated data integration solutions and building dashboards for public health systems. Key Responsibilities • Develop automated eICR data integration solutions for the Texas Birth Defects Registry (TBIRDS) • Build dashboards and automate data ingestion, case triage, and clinical review workflows • Develop and maintain SAS/Python/R programs, scripts, and data processing workflows • Perform data validation, testing, troubleshooting, and quality assessments • Document technical requirements, programming solutions, and integration workflows • Collaborate with epidemiology, public health, and technical teams on registry modernization Requirements • 8+ years of experience with SAS, Python, R, or similar programming languages • 8+ years in system integration, dashboard development, and process automation • 8+ years working with structured/semi-structured health, public health, or complex administrative data • 8+ years in database management and database querying • 8+ years in business and technical requirements analysis and documentation • 8+ years testing and validating automated data integration solutions • 8+ years preparing code documentation, technical specifications, and workflow documentation • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
