About the Role We are looking for an experienced Apptio Quality Engineer with strong QA automation skills to join our team. This role focuses on testing Apptio applications, integrations, and business workflows. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Apptio applications • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing • Validate data flows between Apptio and upstream/downstream systems • Perform backend testing and data validation using SQL • Develop automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks • Test REST APIs using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams • Support defect triage, root-cause analysis, and test documentation Requirements • 5+ years of QA/testing experience with strong test automation expertise • Hands-on experience testing Apptio implementations/applications — mandatory • Strong understanding of Apptio data, reporting, workflows, and integrations • Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or comparable automation tools • Strong API testing skills • Good SQL and data-validation experience • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
