About the Role We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer for a 12-month contract position in Fremont, CA. This role focuses on developing and executing test plans, building automation frameworks, and performing various types of testing to ensure software quality. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts • Build and enhance automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, and PyTest • Perform functional, regression, performance, exploratory, and basic security/compliance testing • Integrate and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines • Identify, document, prioritize, and investigate defects with development teams • Analyze field failures using telemetry, fleet data, and source code when applicable • Validate software updates and deliver test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics Requirements • Strong software QA experience with a focus on test automation • Experience with Python, Selenium, MySQL, and Redis • Familiarity with frameworks such as Playwright, Appium, PyTest, or TestNG • Working knowledge of Jenkins or GitLab CI, Git, Agile, and the SDLC • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
