About the Role We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team at CitiusTech. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in automation testing tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement automation tests using Playwright for both UI and API • Develop Python or JavaScript scripts for test automation • Perform complex SQL queries for data validation including joins and aggregations • Conduct ETL testing and source-to-target data validation • Test REST APIs and work with JSON data • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins • Follow Git practices and automation frameworks • Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing Requirements • 8+ years of experience in QA automation • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript • Strong SQL skills including complex joins and aggregations • Experience with ETL testing and data validation • Knowledge of REST API testing and JSON • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools • Understanding of Git and automation frameworks • Experience with QA best practices • BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc degree Benefits • Contract position with CitiusTech client • Opportunity to work on automation projects
