About the Role We are looking for an Automation Test Lead to support a critical Managed Care Transition Project. This role involves leading testing efforts on a high-impact, in-house system development initiative. Key Responsibilities • Assess testability of requirements and develop test cases from Business Requirements & Software Design Documents • Execute functional, integration, and regression tests • Test EDI applications and develop/execute test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI transactions (837I, 837P, NCPDP D.0) • Develop SQL queries and script automated test suites • Review, analyze, and report test results • Work with Test & Defect Management Tools (HP ALM, JIRA preferred) • Test web applications and Healthcare Claims Processing systems • Support user acceptance testing with end users • Work independently with minimal supervision; prioritize concurrent deadlines • Knowledge of Agile Methodology Requirements • X12 EDI Transmission testing (837i, 839, NCPDP D.0) – 2+ years • QA & testing on EDI applications – 2+ years • Requirements assessment & test case development – 5+ years • Functional, integration & regression testing – 5+ years • Healthcare Claims Processing Testing – 3+ years • Test & Defect Management Tools (HP ALM, JIRA) – 2+ years (highly desired) • Review, analysis & reporting of test results – 3+ years • Testing web applications – 3+ years • SQL query development – 2+ years • Scripting automated Test Suites – 1+ year • Business & QA documentation with Business Teams – 2+ years • Agile Methodology knowledge – 2+ years (highly desired) • Excellent verbal & written communication skills • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
