About the Role We are seeking an AWS AI Engineer to join our team, focusing on building scalable AI systems using AWS services and generative AI technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement AI solutions using AWS services like Bedrock, SageMaker, and Lambda • Develop and fine-tune large language models and generative AI applications • Create reusable components and APIs for MVP development • Support technical design, solutioning, and backlog creation • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance • Work across development, APIs, and databases • Utilize DevOps CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment • Participate in pair programming and XP development practices Requirements • 10+ years of experience in AI system design, ML, and NLP • 1-2 years of experience in Gen AI or Agentic AI • Advanced proficiency in Python and data science stack (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow) • Experience with vector databases or RDS Vector Store for RAG implementations • Familiarity with orchestration tools like LangChain and LlamaIndex • Strong understanding of AWS services including Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, Lambda, etc. • Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and TDD practices • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work independently and mentor others
