About the Role We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect to design and develop scalable cloud-based optimization solutions for a Capital Investment Planning & Prioritization Tool (CIPT). Key Responsibilities • Design and develop mathematical optimization models using Python (Pyomo, PuLP) • Implement Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) models using solvers such as Gurobi, HiGHS, and CBC • Build scalable AWS cloud microservices using AWS Batch, Fargate, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3 • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform • Integrate predictive asset-health data, including Probability of Failure and Remaining Useful Life • Develop deterministic execution frameworks, automated testing, and diagnostic tools • Leverage GitHub Copilot, AI Agents, and Spec-Driven Development (SDD) to accelerate engineering delivery Requirements • Strong experience in AWS Cloud Architecture and Engineering • Hands-on experience with Python, Pyomo, and PuLP • Strong knowledge of Mathematical Optimization and Operations Research • Experience with MILP models and optimization solvers (Gurobi, HiGHS, CBC) • Expertise in AWS serverless and container-based architectures • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code • Strong background in automated testing, data pipelines, and deterministic execution frameworks
