About the Role The client needs an access model for a Databricks workspace to profile data across their AWS accounts from a governance perspective. The role involves addressing security concerns related to a scanning identity with broad read access across a regulated estate. The goal is to provide an answer that the client's information security function will accept. Key Responsibilities • Determine the access model for Databricks workspace profiling • Address security concerns related to scanning identity • Assess how much of the in-scope S3 estate is registered in the AWS Glue Data Catalog • Provide recommendations based on the assessment Requirements • Experience with AWS Data Platform • Knowledge of Databricks and S3 • Understanding of AWS Glue Data Catalog • Strong security background • Ability to work with governance and security functions
