About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to support an enterprise Microsoft Azure migration and strengthen cloud security across a large public-sector environment. Key Responsibilities • Support enterprise Microsoft Azure migration • Strengthen cloud security across a large public-sector environment • Implement and maintain security measures in Azure cloud environment Requirements • 13+ years of overall relevant experience • At least 8 years of enterprise cloud experience and 5 years of enterprise cloud security experience • Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud engineering and security expertise • Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Policy, identity security, and network security • Experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, SIEM integration, log analysis, and security investigations • Knowledge of CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, vulnerability management, and remediation tracking • Familiarity with SEC530, CIS Benchmarks, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, and Zero Trust • Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments; government experience is beneficial • Relevant certifications as specified by the client: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CompTIA Security+, and CCSP Preferred • AZ-305 certification • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Azure migration initiatives
