About the Role We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to join Radioactive Technologies on a full-time contract basis. This fully remote role requires extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Purview, and Azure DevOps. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, secure, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud data platforms on Microsoft Azure • Implement CI/CD pipelines for data solutions • Manage enterprise data governance and optimize cloud costs • Ensure platform security and deliver high-performance analytics platforms • Attend 3-4 meetings or calls per day Requirements • 12+ years of total experience, with 6+ years in Azure Services • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Purview, and Azure DevOps • Experience with modern data engineering practices and scalable data platforms • Excellent communication skills • Committed to working hours of 4 PM - 12 AM IST • Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and PowerShell • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, Medallion Architecture, and Lakehouse • Understanding of data modeling, incremental loading, streaming data, and batch processing • Experience with security practices including RBAC, Managed Identity, and Zero Trust • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
