About the Role We are looking for an experienced Azure Databricks Data Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This is a 6-month extendable contract role requiring 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, ADF, dbt, PySpark, SQL, and Azure data platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement data solutions using Azure Databricks • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using dbt and PySpark • Manage data pipelines in Azure Data Factory • Implement CI/CD practices for data solutions • Ensure data quality and governance standards are met Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks • Proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) • Knowledge of GitHub / Git • Expertise in PySpark & SQL • Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling & Lakehouse Architecture • Experience with CI/CD, branching strategies, and automated deployments Benefits • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge Azure technologies • Collaborative and innovative work environment
