About the Role Veridian Tech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer for a 6+ month contract-to-hire position. The role requires strong hands-on experience with AWS data services, Python development, and end-to-end data pipeline engineering. Key Responsibilities • Build end-to-end production data pipelines from scratch • Design and implement AWS Lambda functions • Develop data ingestion, transformation, and cross-platform integration solutions • Work with AWS data lakes and data integration services • Implement CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Bitbucket Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with AWS S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS CLI • Proficiency in Python development, scripting, and API integration • Proven experience building production data pipelines • Strong database knowledge of PostgreSQL and DynamoDB • Experience with Apache Spark and PySpark for distributed data processing Good-to-Have Skills • Experience with Snowflake and Databricks • Knowledge of Apache Iceberg and cross-platform data sharing • Familiarity with Agentic AI and AI agent workflows • Experience with AWS Bedrock and AI tool integration • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure
