About the Role We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to build and maintain our internal developer platform. This role involves developing DevOps tools and automation scripts, with a focus on Azure, CI/CD, and Kubernetes. Key Responsibilities • Build internal DevOps tools, CLI utilities, and automation scripts • Serve as a Platform Engineer, building and running our internal developer platform for both connected and air-gapped environments • Utilize GitLab for source control and pipelines, Terraform for automation, Python for helpers/tests, and Helm for Kubernetes deployments • Work with Microsoft Azure Stack Hub and Hyper-V sidecar • Implement trunk-based GitLab workflows and deterministic pipelines with built-in testing and security scans • Manage checksum/signature/SBOM-driven movement of artifacts and offline scanning and promotion for high-side environments • Ensure secret hygiene by default and manage vulnerability/misconfig scanning in CI Requirements • Experience with Azure, CI/CD, and Kubernetes • Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, Python, and Helm • Familiarity with Azure Stack Hub and Hyper-V • Knowledge of SAST, IaC, secret detection, Semgrep, KICS, Trivy, and pip-audit • Experience with deterministic pipelines and evidence attachment to changes • Understanding of checksum/signature/SBOM-driven artifact movement • Strong background in secret hygiene and vulnerability scanning
