Role: Azure DevOps Senior Systems Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (Must work PST hours)
Type: Contract – 6+ Months (Strong possibility of extension)
Experience Required: 13+ Years
Citizenship: ONLY USC (US Citizens)
We are looking for a **hands-on Senior Azure Platform Engineer** to lead the modernization of **CIAM infrastructure** in Azure. This is a high-impact Cloud Engineering / Platform Engineering role focused on designing and deploying secure, scalable, and compliant cloud-native solutions using **Terraform + Bicep**.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage secure Azure Landing Zones
- Provision and deploy infrastructure using *Terraform* and *Bicep*
- Implement and harden CIAM solutions (encryption, security controls, high availability)
- Build and maintain *CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps* for infrastructure deployments
- Manage Azure App Services, Key Vault (Premium), Private Endpoints, Networking, RBAC, and Service Principals
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, network issues, firewall rules, and private endpoint configurations
- Collaborate with architects and security teams on mTLS, certificate management, App Insights, and compliance standards
- Proactive ownership of the platform – identify improvements and drive roadmap
Must-Have Skills:
- 13+ years total experience + strong background as Azure DevOps / Systems Engineer
- Deep hands-on experience with *Azure Landing Zones*, *Terraform Landing Zones*, *Bicep*, and IaC
- Azure App Service, Azure Key Vault (Premium), Private Endpoints, RBAC, Service Principals
- Azure DevOps (ADO) – Build & Release pipelines for infrastructure
- PowerShell, certificate management (manual + automation), App Insights
- Strong troubleshooting & security mindset (mTLS, IAM, OAuth, SAML preferred)
- Experience modernizing CIAM infrastructure in Azure is a big plus
- ServiceNow experience is preferred
