About the Role We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role focuses on developing Java microservices and leading technical solutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end solution design and application development • Define technical architecture and development standards • Lead onsite and offshore development teams • Actively participate in hands-on coding and development • Build REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot • Drive code reviews, performance optimization, and best practices • Lead technical discussions and resolve complex production issues Requirements • 12+ Years of Experience – Mandatory • Must be local to Sunnyvale, CA / Bay Area • Strong Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices experience • Previous Technical Lead / Lead Developer experience • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL • Knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ, Event-Driven Architecture • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, CI/CD • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes • AWS or Azure Cloud experience Good to Have • GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Python, Jenkins, Kubernetes
