About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Backup Engineer to support an enterprise backup and recovery environment. This role involves collaborating with offshore engineering teams and managed service operations to ensure reliable backup, recovery, and data protection across enterprise infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Engineer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise backup and recovery platforms • Support backup infrastructure across on-premises and Azure environments • Improve backup reliability, recovery readiness, and operational efficiency • Automate repetitive backup administration and engineering tasks • Collaborate with offshore engineering teams and managed service providers • Support incident resolution, platform maintenance, and continuous improvement Requirements • 7+ years of enterprise backup and recovery engineering experience • Hands-on production experience with one or more of the following: Dell Data Domain, Cohesity, Rubrik, Oracle ZDLRA • Strong experience with on-premises backup infrastructure • Level 3 engineering, troubleshooting, and operational support experience • Familiarity with immutable backups, air-gapped environments, and cyber recovery concepts
