🔍 About the Role
The Bench Sales Recruiter is responsible for marketing and placing bench IT consultants into contract roles across the United States.
⚠️ This role is 100% focused on placement and bench marketing — not talent acquisition or recruiting from scratch.
You will market high‑demand consultants including:
Java Developers
Data Engineers
AI / ML Specialists
Cybersecurity Professionals
Test Automation Engineers
Program Managers
🧩 Key Responsibilities
Bench Marketing & Placement
Market available bench consultants across all 50 U.S. states
Identify contract opportunities via job boards, vendors, and client networks
Manage job pipelines, submit profiles, and perform consistent follow‑ups
Drive fast turnaround from bench to placement
Networking & Vendor Relations
Build and maintain relationships with U.S. staffing vendors and Tier‑1 agencies
(TEKsystems, Apex, Insight Global, Randstad, etc.)
Expand recruiter and vendor networks to access new opportunities
Employment & Immigration Knowledge
Understand U.S. work authorization types: CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, H1B, H4 EAD, GC, TN, etc.
Navigate C2C, 1099, and contract staffing rules
Support internal teams with compliance guidance
Consultant Optimization
Update and optimize resumes for client submissions
Improve LinkedIn profiles and overall marketability
Prepare consultants for interviews
Reporting & Accountability
Track submissions, interviews, and placements
Provide weekly performance updates
Meet 30 / 60 / 90‑day placement milestones
Confidentiality & Integrity
Handle immigration, employment, and personal data with strict confidentiality
Follow structured processes and uphold company standards
🎯 Required Skills & Experience
✅ 2–5+ years of Bench Sales experience in U.S. IT staffing (preferred)
✅ Strong understanding of C2C, 1099, and U.S. contract models
✅ Proven experience placing IT consultants
✅ Working knowledge of U.S. immigration categories
✅ Existing Tier‑1 vendor network (highly preferred)
✅ Excellent written and spoken English
✅ Self‑driven, organized, and KPI‑focused
✅ Proficient with LinkedIn, job boards, Excel, email sourcing, and tracking tools
